The Love Story: We met in high school and went on a few dates between then and the end of college, but nothing stuck. After Andrew was drafted by the Tigers, he spent every spring in Florida and I happened to be near him one time when traveling there for vacation with some of my girlfriends. We invited him to come hangout with us and something about that night sparked a flame between me + Andrew that brought us to this point! Because of Covid, Andrew’s baseball season was cut short and he came back to Ohio- I can honestly say this wouldn’t have worked out if it weren’t for Covid bringing him back and giving us the opportunity to hangout almost every day! We became official soon after, fell in love, dated for 2 years, and got engaged in February!

The Engagement Story: Andrew asked me to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days late, and planned a whole surprise that included my best friends and family. He had a clue laying on my porch which took me to our first-first date location where my college bestie was waiting with a sweet letter, gift, and clue. I went to our second-first date location, again met by a dear friend with a letter, gift, and final clue. The last place was where he was all set up- a new place for us to have a memory to reminisce on- he got down on one knee and proposed!
